Selected Answer: D I choose D also. Trading app should be higher priority than VoIP, as ibank develops low latency technology for immediate trading, but voice order still needs a human processing that much slower, then being able to talk is enough.

Selected Answer: D Most Cisco devices now support multi-level priority queues https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9400/software/release/16-6/configuration_guide/qos/b_166_qos_9400_cg/b_166_qos_9400_cg_chapter_01.html https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/12_2sb/feature/guide/mpq.html

Selected Answer: D Assigning separate priority queues for the custom application and VoIP makes sure they are given the highest priority and can be sent with minimal delay, regardless of how congested the network is.

D Without two separate dedicated queues, both VoIP & Custom app might face service degradation

What a question, A is wrong - It clearly says this tcp app needs to be prioritized over all traffic ... . B is also wrong because app needs to be prioritize over all other traffic which includes VoIP does it?... . C is wrong because it doesn't matter whether it is UDP or TCP in the other queue. D ?? only remaining one and with MPQ possible.

There are only 2 answers (B, D) that can satisfy the two requirements: TCP based stock trading app & VoIP. Since it does not give any reference to hardware, MLP is still a good choice - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/qos_conmgt/configuration/xe-3s/asr903/qos-conmgt-xe-3s-asr903-book/m_qos-conmgt-multilevel-pq.pdf

it is a TCP-app and nothing is mentioned about time sensitivity. also most hardware has only 1P queue. I will stick to A as the TCP App will compete with Voip in answer D

I think B, VOIP should use priority queue rather than CBWFQ. not D due to separate priority queue, I think only have one priority and CBWFQ queue within a interface.

For multiple priority queues, you can use the priority level command to set a level of priority service on a class in a policy map.

Selected Answer: D D. Each port supports eight egress queues, and two may be assigned priority. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9400/software/release/16-6/configuration_guide/qos/b_166_qos_9400_cg/b_166_qos_9400_cg_chapter_01.html#concept_zs4_1db_p1b
