I agree with A, because the engineer is configuring the controller, not a WAN Edge. In the controllers we don't use colors.

Also, there is no color default.

I really can't make sense of this question. B and C are basically the same thing and they said not MPLS. So I'd choose A even though you normally don't configure color on the vManage or controllers. There are control connections built using the colors defined on the remote side so if default is used on controllers I think it's the same as not having anything on them, but I won't have my lab spun back up for a few weeks to verify.

the correct answer is B

why not "color public-internet" ?
1
public internet is named biz-internet in SDWAN.
1
B. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/solutions/CVD/SDWAN/cisco-sdwan-design-guide.html The public colors are 3g, biz-internet, blue, bronze, custom1, custom2, custom3, default, gold, green, lte, public-internet, red, and silver.

Reading this again, it might be C as well (per my posted citation).

From the design guide (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/solutions/CVD/SDWAN/cisco-sdwan-design-guide.html): "The color attribute applies to WAN Edge routers or vManage and vSmart controllers". So, controllers do use colors.
1
The default color exists and is used by the controller when a specific color is not set. If you have a lab or real environment, please check your controller's VPN 0 configuration. The controller supports color, but it is not seen as best practice to change it. This is an example of vSmart's control connection. 0 vmanage 10 0 223.1.1.12 12346 223.1.1.10 12346 1.1.1.10 dtls default default 223.1.1.10
1
No. Actually in the sdwan environment, we have public-internet and biz-internet too.
1
Ensdwi course used biz-internet. Several questions in the exam used public-internet, both are public and both mean internet.. stupid question
1
Answer [A] Leaving the TLOC color at the default is still one of the public colors (so you don't need to set a preferred color unless it is required or mentioned in the question) The default color tunnel can still establish control connections (DTLS) to other SD-WAN devices, Options B and C are basically the same, this makes me think neither of those is valid for the question. The colors are already set as MPLS and Internet. So the only option that matches one of these colors is option D, but D does not meet the rest of the requirements. I would pick A in this case.
1
B and C are both right, does it depend on how you label your Internet feed?
1
Use biz-internet for business or enterprise-grade Internet links. Use public-internet for general public Internet links.
1
A, B and C satisfy the requirement according to the Public colors logic
