be careful the given interface g0/1 has no IP address assigned so it cannot be the tunnel source

the given answer is correct because int tunnel 0 is wrong and not specified !, G0/1 is not assigned and won't work, only the LO interface works and it matches the ip scheme.

A is right but that is pretty strange business.
How can lo0 on R1 talk to lo0 on R2 unless there are static routes using g0/0 as their gateway.
