I think it's B. The default gateway is right, and there isn't any rule saying it has to be the first address.

its B, but this wouldn't stop it from reaching the internet, it would stop it from resolving hostnames on the internet (which to most users would be the same thing)
however in this situation if they were to ping a known public ip address (such as 8.8.8.8) they would be able to reach out.

There isn't any rule about the gateway being the first or last IP.
